Maria Antonia Rodriguez, Ph.D. (Dr. Toni) is a clinical health psychologist located in Lima, Peru. She holds an undergradutate degree in Psychology from Pace University and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Health Emphasis from Yeshiva University. She has received clinical training at various hospitals in NYC, including Bellevue Hospital Center, Montefiore Hospital, and the Neuropsychological Institute at Columbia Medical Center. She has also conducted research at the Einstein College of Medicine, the Hunter College Center for Community and Urban Health, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. She completed her clinical internship at the Multicultural Psychology Internship Program of Massachusetts, part of the Behavioral Health Network.
Dr. Toni has experience providing psychological services in both English and Spanish to diverse individuals facing differing challenges. She tailors her treatment to the unique needs of each individual.
Currently, she is Associate Professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú where she teaches undergraduate Psychology classes, supervises undergraduate and graduate theses, and coordinates the research lab "Familias Saludables: Intervención y Evaluación" (Healthy Families: Intervention and Evaluation). She is also involved in research studies at the Department of Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System. She is licensed to practice in New York State and Peru.
